Hi, I'm Sabrina and I design jewels meant to inspire you! I design for citizens of the universe, any gender, age, size, colour etc.. You must love fearless designs that command a room. You are someone who loves one-of-a-kind pieces and uses jewellery as a form of self-expression. Each of my creations is unique. No two pieces will look exactly the same. They are Unique as You!

Here's a little about me: I am half Swiss and half Peruvian. I had already lived in 8 different countries before my 14th birthday. I am a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu blackbelt and competed internationally. I am a mother of 3 (two kids and 1 dog). That's me in a nut-shell :)

My jewellery journey began at NYU. I took a jewellery-making class and hated it! I felt overwhelmed and frustrated because I couldn't figure out how to get the materials to work in my favour. Adversity sparked my curiosity; and so it was, I flew to Geneva to learn jewellery-making from the best. I am a classically trained high jeweller from Geneva living & working from my studio in Toronto. I specialize in Design, CAD, jewellery fabrication & stone setting. I have been honing my craft for 16 years now.

My mission is to create jewellery that inspires and It all starts in my workshop! I take care to infuse: love & mindfulness. A little magic goes a long way and I try very hard to pass this along in the essence of my jewellery.

I care tremendously about the future and I think sustainability is paramount. At Janine Jewels my mantra is to relish the journey. 

Don’t get me wrong, we all love the end result, and I am proud of what I make, but what sets my jewellery apart is that I truly care about the process. 

I invite and thrive on new challenges. This explains why I focus on one-of-a-kind pieces and on custom designs. Each piece is completely new and there is no rule book to follow. Each product is engineered with precision and thoughtfulness.

Consequently, my passion to be involved in every part of the process stems from a deep-seated belief that sustainability is essential. It permeates all of our relationships and all that we do. From the people I work with to the products and chemicals I use, to the time and effort I put into each of my pieces. Sustainability is the core focus during each of those phases.
